General Information: Tindora is the Hindi word for Coccinia grandis, or Ivy Gourd, a member of the cucumber family. It is a small, green vegetable, about 2 inches in length with a interior much like that of a cucumber. The may be eaten immature and green, or mature and deep red. The fruit is eaten in Indian cuisine.
