Grape Leaves

General Information: Grape leaves are used in the preparation of Dolmades: An Arabic term meaning "something stuffed." Dolma (stuffed vegetables) became "Dolmades" in Greece, which is a dish prepared of grape leaves stuffed with rice, meat, lentils, and seasonings. This dish is typically served as an appetizer or as an entree. Fresh grape leaves are generally blanched until soft.
