|2||teaspoons||Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice|
|1||pinch||Fresh Ground Black Pepper|
Place basil leaves and parmesan in food processor. Process until basil is well chopped. Slowly add olive oil in steady stream, while food processor is running. Add pine nuts, garlic and lemon juice, and process until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve pesto over pasta, on a grilled portobello sandwich, as a vegetable dip, or add to your favorite potato salad recipe.
